My name is Tammy. I am from the outskirts of London, a place called Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire. I have always had a passion for photography and art but I never knew exactly what it was that I wanted to do. I have always had a creative personality and I am now beyond blessed to be able to use my creativity in my career.

How did TamzSocial start?

In January 2023, I started CapturedByTamz. The original plan was to take photography and videography for people that wanted to become influencers but slowly, my business went down it's own path as I had a lot of creatives (DJ's, podcasts, other videographers etc.) reach out to me. I am now steering away from this and focusing on my original plan. Since then, I have been fortunate to create content for big brands such as L'Oreal, Boots, Kylie Cosmetics etc.

 

I then began to learn a lot about growing social media and took a huge interest in this. I studied a social media marketing course via META and received a level 4 Diploma in this. I then went to further my knowledge by fulfilling my dreams of going to university. I am currently studying for a degree in content creation and online marketing. I couldn't believe that this was now a course to gain a degree from (it's so fun too)! I then had an idea to offer social media management as a service and to tie it in with CapturedByTamz. And that is how ManagementByTamz came to life. I was offering free social media management to people who were starting a new business, to gain even more experience.

I have always had a love for graphic design but I then decided to improve my skills by spending hours and hours, watching tutorials on how to use Adobe and practising too. Then I created DigitalByTamz, my graphic design side of the business.

TamzSocial was an idea that I had shortly after I launched CapturedByTamz but I knew it wasn't the right time to launch this yet as I needed to gain more experience. I also wasn't sure on how I would exactly break down the different parts of the business but I am now so excited to work with new people and expand my career while doing everything that I love! Stay tuned for the journey to come.
